Title: Dedicated jukebox.
Post by: Binkles on November 27, 2013, 08:28:38 am
Depending on the house we rent, we may have a games room, and if thought of building a jukebox for it, but noticed not a lot of people have posted completed projects that could be used.

I like the Wurlitzer shape, but could be hard for me to make, but worth trying, though of course without the bubbles or lights that it uses.

Would like to use something like them, but that's neither here nor there.  Don't really want a touch screen setup, would rather the physical buttons.

So what plans are out there, what completed boxes have been done that may fit this bill?

I'm quite an amateur at woodwork, so not really something incredibly intricate at this stage.

I've always liked this jukebox.  Granted, it's a touchscreen setup as shown but buttons could easily be added.  It seems to be a user-friendly design with the monitor placement optimized for viewing, flat areas to rest things (like a beer or food plate) as you peruse the songs.  It seems like an easy build for non-woodworkers, and doesn't look too radical so it should blend into a gameroom or man-cave really well.

Another option is to take the ultra easy way out and do what I did....

I still need to make a thread about my wall mounted Jukebox.
