ok, maybe i am missing something here, but alot of games i have wont show up in mame and they dont seem to be on the game list. marvel vs. capcom for example... i have been trying to go to the mame site for some answers but i cant seem to find any. i checked the unemulated games page and i didnt see the games i want listed so...do i need some other emulator or somethin? im using mame32 right now.

What mame version are you running? (mame32?)
what games specifically aren't showing up (by rom name)
I have a feeling that it's a naming issue.

0.36. i got it off download.com though because the mame site wasnt working, dont know if that matters. but as for a naming issue, the games arent even on the "all games" list in mame. none of the marvel vs capcom, street fighter alpha, anything like that are listed. ???
if it was just a naming issue shoudlnt it still be on the "all games" list but just say i dont have it?

Well.. the latest version is .59
The games your thinking of weren't even dumped when .36 was compiled (at least the xors wheren't even considered)
go to www.mame.net and download the latest version. You will be pleased.

wow that was quite the mental lapse. for some reason i was thinking i had .56 not .36. i even thought i made a typo when i told you the version but i rechecked download.com and they indeed have .36. thanks for the smack in the head, im awake now ;D
good thing the mame site is working again now, it wasnt last night.
