Looks like another player just stepped onto the console stage in a big way...
Zenith Launch the Gamespace Pro to compete with Xbox One and PS4 (http://www.theonion.com/articles/console-wars-heat-up-as-zenith-unveils-gamespace-p,34551/)

Preordered. Can't wait to play Longbow! :lol

I'm totally getting one. Everyone knows that Betamax is a superior storage format to blur-ray.... the resolution of the games is much higher.

Everyone knows Capacitance Electronic Discs, particularly the RCA SelectaVision, is superior to all those!

My friends and I put on old Halloween costumes and run around the yard with old LazerTag guns.

Action Max would be more suitable and BTW VHS is better than Betamax. :P

Cool!
Do You think it's backwards compatible with my gen 1 wireless controller?

I remember having a similar remote but you could change the channels on the set by jingling a set of keys in front of the Zenith.

According to Zenith representatives, over 650 units have already been preordered
Make that 651! :notworthy:

Yeah you gave him good bashing on MameWorld. Not that he didn't deserve it.

That wasn't what I was referring to, I was making a joke at modern console war's expense but since you brought it up.
I feel bad about that in hindsight, because Matt is a decent enough guy, BUT I still think he's in the wrong and everything I posted I actually meant.
It's one thing to decide that the hobby isn't fun anymore and stop coding, but it is entirely another to get butt-hurt because people don't pay you to do your HOBBY, and forcibly withhold code you've already finished, until you start getting paid.
It's unreasonable and impractical for the emulation scene to go commercial. Legal issues aside, what you would pay for the kind of programming you get from some of these emulators and apps.... well the community just couldn't afford to hire them, myself included. ;)

You were correct in making those remarks, but I would send him a courteous response he knows you mean no hard feelings. Besides he is working on a cool Pioneer LDP replacement, which one day could be the makings of a Ben Heck console. :) Sorry to bring it up, I thought it was apt considering the pun.

I wonder... will this work with my Magnavox TV? ???

Not without a proper hack.

Friends don't let friends hack Magnavox TVs. Or something like that. :P

I'll grab some tinfoil and coat hangers on the way home.
