Title: Rowe AMI NetStar HELP
Post by: NCMike on November 14, 2013, 08:37:05 pm
I'm hoping someone here can assist.. Anyone know how you can access the software on a NetStar? We want to figure out how to change the volume without the remote.  The owner keeps it low but on Friday nights we like it loud and no one working here knows how to adjust the volume.  There must be a way to access from the touchscreen?

the service menu is only accessible by pressing a button inside the machine. this keeps customers and other idiot people from messing with the settings.

if left to the end user, they would issue 100's of service credits and crank up the volume till the speakers and amp blow. that's just how they are.

source: placed a convenience button outside a machine once. service call 2 days later. wrecked the speakers, amp...and not a buck was to be had in the machine.

If I'm reading this right, you want to go behind the jukebox owner's back and tamper with his machine? That is not kosher.
