Title: FS : 2 WICO Joysticks - Red Handle
Post by: General Zod on November 22, 2003, 07:55:41 pm
I thought I'd offer these to the board first before dealing with the hassles of eBay. I know someone here will be able to make good use of them.

2 WICO Joysticks, Red Handle type, and I believe these are leaf-switches...don't quote me on that though .... I'm still learning the ropes.

I'm not sure if they are 4 or 8 way sticks, or if they are switchable between the two. There is a small amount of rust on the handles, but nothing that can't be sanded off. They look a little dirty, but I'm afraid to take them apart and clean them, as I might lose something important. I'm throwing in an extra base, there is no handle for that one, but I figured whoever wanted these could use that one for parts or whatever.

I'm not sure what they are worth, but I know I haven't any use for them. So if somebody can restore these or put them to good use, have at it.  :)

They seem pretty light, so I don't think shipping will be all that expensive. $10.00 for the lot, and shipping will be decided by you ... meaning, method, length of time, and insurance ... the usual.

One of the joysticks are missing the leaf-switches on the bottom, but the extra base I'm throwing in has them attached.

FYI, those are 8-ways.  Wico 4-ways had gray bases, if I recall correctly.  Also, you can flip the actuator over and make it into a cheap 4-way.  (there is a narrower portion on the actuator; point that away from the ball for 4-way) Not quite the same, but it works.
