What are you using for the mp3 program?

Have you lookd at the dfx plugin?

My jukebox runs off of winamp 2 along with that markuszehnder lcd plugin to drive the lcd display.

Have you lookd at the dfx plugin?

The dfx plugin lets me adjust the bass more than what the standard soundblaster audigy driver does.

Just a thought. ;)

do you have a good sub?  either crank up the gain or upgrade to a nice powered sub.

Your speakers are probably the issue.

What type of soundcard?  What type of speakers?

some songs even sound wimpy on nice subwoofers...  I had a pair of 12" subs in my car.. a lot of music sounded pretty good.. but certain songs were real wimpy.. mostly the older songs.. guess they didn't put as much bass in them...

Not talking about rap.. don't listen to that.. but like older rock etc.. metallica vs. CCR
