Title: Newb question about building a CP

Thinking about making my first box and couldnt quite find the answers i needed yet.  I am very strapped for space in my house at the moment and wanted to make a all-in-one machine.  I wanted to build a CP for two players, add a trackball, and a spinner to the cp.  I also wanted to add a couple Actlab light guns so that i could play shooter games as well.  Is it possible to have all of that on one maching or do i have to focus on doing one or the other.  If it is possible, is there any links to some pix of machines similar to this?

You could always do a rotating control panel like 1up, frosty, and others (including myself)...but you're are in for a giant headache  ;)  

I'm sure the guys who've done it a while back will say its worth it, but for those 2 longs months while you are building the cab from scratch and getting the tolerances dialed in, finding the Tron handles, making custom hollow joystick handles, wiring and lighting them, having to undo it all 6 times...realizing the wiring harness you made is so big there is next to no room in the CP...

whoa, sorry about that...a couple of swappable control panels should be a piece of cake  ;D

If space is an issue, but you still want to do everything, then I suggest picking up an empty upright video poker cabinet. They are a couple inchs narrower and shallower than a standard upright, but still wide enough to play 2 player on. They have rectangular wooden control panels (makes it easy to make swappable ones), and have a large storage area in the bottom of the cabinet to hold the extra ones.
