Post by: matt4949 on October 29, 2013, 05:28:50 pm
ok I apologize if this has been aswered before but I can't seem to find any info on the subject. I have an older computer running widows 98. I am deleting unnessasary programs and files (will become a dedicated pc for a cab) Do I need to keep quicktime for running mame.146 or mala 174?

played around wit it last night. only setting up 195 games. I got rid of unnessary snaps have yet to tackle roms. I think I am changing my thoughts on using this PC. Tried to boot mame with only 2 working games and nothing happened. that was only 38 mbs

Wow that is an old pc...you will probably need to use a much older version of mame....our get a faster pc...Check your local pc repair shop, we often end up throwing out Pentium 4 class computers all the time.
