Ok, sick of trying to fix the one I have...the guy i bought it from is going to offer me a refund. Looking to buy one with a CRT monitor running, voice files, and playing off of the Disney Arcade edition. Got one? Want to make me one? I've got money for you. Hit me up.

Where are you located and will you pay in advance if the builder was perhaps a well known member of the community with a long history?

Yes and Yes. I am in New York City. But will pay for NAVL/STI shipping. You interested?

You have a DK, monitor? Let's talk. PM me.

I have monitors from here to eternity (I basically repair monitors for a living at this point in my life and have 2 sheds full of them). I don't have a DK cabinet. I can build a DK cabinet though. It won't be exact though as the original DK cabinets are built out of metric wood thicknesses that aren't available at any American lumberyard.
If you aren't time crunched then I can do it in a real DK cabinet, I would just have to wait for one to show up locally.

Do you sell just CRT's? Might have a guy that has everything but the CRT ready...

Smells like a Disney lawyer to me.... ;D

It is generally not worth shipping a normal 19" crt monitor. It costs me about $100 to safely ship one and well that is almost as much as I charge for one in the first place.

That won't be a problem. Have a guy ready to make, he just may need a CRT. Also, do you have any of the classic Sanyo monitors on hand? That's what I really want.
-
Using a Sanyo in a Fix It Felix just adds another video convertor to the mix since the Sanyo monitors are inverted video and need a convertor to take the signal from anything that isn't a Nintendo title. However some of them have that convertor on the monitor already.
I only have a single Sanyo EZ20 in stock and I need to keep it because without it I can't do single stop monitor exchanges on Donkey Kong machines and for some reason the people who both insist you come out to their house to service the machine AND are willing to pay the extra for it usually have a Donkey Kong. Chances are very good that your builder can source a monitor locally for less than I can ship them one.
