Title: Protecting my paint job
Post by: Trebeck on October 19, 2013, 03:00:07 pm
Hey all,

I'm remaking my MAME cab and I've finished painting all of the mdf panels.  Now when I put it all together there is some inevitable rubbing of the pieces because of the tight fit.  For example, putting the back door on will rub against the inner side walls.  Now I don't usually have paint coming off but I do see scuff marks.

My question is:  is there something I can use to protect the paint?  Something matte finish?

Thanks Gurus!
Beck

I normally paint them after I put them together.

The only problem is this thing is big and won't go through most door frames so it has to be dismantled.
