Title: Pacman ball top dia.?

Could someone with a pacman measure the ball on the joystick for me?  I am in the process of recreating and would like this detail.  Thx.

This seems obvious to me but if your trying to reproduce it that accurately why don't you just buy a old pac-man joystick or the new repro model?

Have you checked Happs page to see if they have a schematic that shows the size of the ball?

2 reasons -- 1. BYOAC with emphasis on B  ;D 2. I like to build things when I can as opposed to just buying everything.  

I got a dimension somewhere --not happs (1 3/8") but wanted to confirm on actual machine.

looks to me like an original 1 1.5 inches.

a repro looks more like 1.25
