Got in a Wrestlemainia game in and when turned on I can hear the ping from the speaker and see LEDs on the board light but nothing what so ever on the screen at any time. I have 120v to the board for the screen and the fuse is ok. I do not see any glow in the neck of the tube and made sure the board on the neck was pushed in all the way, all the caps also look physically good to. But I also do not hear anything for when a coin drops or hitting any play buttons. Any ideas?

never seen an orion monitor, seen loads of orion tubes though
whats the actual chassis mate?
photo would help

I think you're right that it's just the tube but here is a pic of the board.

Thanks Ken, at least I know what it is now.

Anything common on these? all caps test good.
-
all caps tested with a cap tester or just look ok?
-
Tested.
-
ok then isolate the B+ and add a dummy load then check the b+ voltage
-
LOL I'm a total n00b and do not know what that means.
-
Ok, I went ahead and installed a new cap kit anyway and still get the same results.
-
i would like to help more but being a novice you will either end up blowing the crap out of the chassis or giving yourself a nasty shock
-
Not quite that dumb.
-
ok besides the cap kit I replaced the HOT Transistor then I read the common problem for these is 812 resistor and the Q801 transistor so I replaced those also and still no neck glow or picture. :banghead:
-
Update- I had someone else tell me to replace the chip that had LA7851 on it so I took that chip from a junk board and put it in and low and behold I had a picture so I grabbed the remote board to adjust the picture and after a few minutes all of a sudden screen went black again WTF? so if that chip went out again I wonder what caused it?

Anybody??? I do hear the static charge when turning it on but no picture.

Hey, hope you read this but I'm currently trying to fix this board right now and I was hoping if you'd be able to post a closer look at the resistors on the bottom left quadrant. The board I have now is covered in rust so I am unable to see the color of the band on them.
Thank you!
P.S have you been able to fix your issue?

The schematic will be helpful for what you want https://www.arcade-museum.com/manuals-monitors/Wells%20Gardner%2013k7301.pdf
Ken's repair guide is also good https://www.arcade-museum.com/manuals-monitors/Wells-Gardner_K7300_series_repair.pdf

Thank you! I'll look into it.
What did you do to fix your issue?
