Hi,
I have bought an ipac 2 and before I lay out my control panel, i was wondering if the following is possible with all dedicated buttons (no shift)
These buttons all have marked terminals on the ipac, so I am sure they will be OK:
1p start
2p start
1p coin
2p coin
1p joy
2p joy
1p action buttons x8
2p action buttons x8
So I am using all 8 action buttons for both players.
These functions don't have a marked dedicated terminal on the ipac:
pause (which input on the ipac would i wire this to? A, B?)
exit (same question)
volume up (is there room for these as well? which input?)
volume down

Just connect them to any free terminal and map the terminal to the key you want (using the ipac software). So for example: connect the pause button to terminal 1A and then configure 1A to key 'P'

Thanks, I guess it will work out. By the way, I plan to use hyperspin... do I need an "enter" button? I see a number of users having that. Can I just use P1 button 1 for selections in hyperspin?

Yes. Much more intuitive than an enter button.
