Hi Folks,
I have returned from a brief time away from my arcade and these forums. I had to sign up all over again as I had changed my email address etc. etc. The reason I am writing today is to determine if Scott over at Game on Grafix is alive and kicking. About three weeks ago I uploaded my graphic files for my CP and Marquee, but never got a reply back. I then sent an email to scott@gameongrafix.com with both files and still have not heard anything. I had some work done by Mame Marquees a few years back and was happy with the work. It looks like they have renamed the business to Game on Grafix, but I cannot be sure. If they are no longer in business, what other options to get my graphics printed are there. I want to get my new CP started, but cannot until I get these graphics printed off.
Your help is appreciated as always.
Cheers.
John

They were working on some Neo MVS side art for me and never got back in touch so I did not bug them, this was about 3 weeks ago.
It seems they try to keep it going but have lost interest, I know Scott has handed over much of the work to his wife (she is very nice).
They do fantastic work but I think it might be time to look elsewhere...

I tried contacting them recently regarding some artwork for a new project. Didn't need anything special, no design work or anything. Just print out my images on the correct vinyl. The new way of emailing them with a ticketing system is bollocks. I got my email "ticket" but they never got back in touch. It's the second time it's happened. I know people keep saying they are still in business but quite frankly it's time to look elsewhere. Doesn't matter how good the product is if there's zero contact you can't get started, so what's the point?

Game on Graphix has been recommended many times on this forum. I placed an order for my marquee with them on Sunday through their website. I hope they are still in business! If not, they need to place a notice on the website and not allow any more orders.

I just received a tracking number from USPS via email. ;D

Good to hear! I'm expecting to have my artwork ready soon and was hoping for Game on Grafix to print it since they have established mediums and methods for arcade cabs.
Sounds like they're getting the printing done on schedule, but design work may be backed up.

Yeah. I sent them my design, so maybe that has to do with my reasonable turn around.

I have never asked a printer to design anything for me so I can't comment on that.
Quality, materials and accuracy of printing exactly what you send are 100% as always.
Response time and turnaround time are at about 60% and apparently dropping rapidly based on forum posts I've seen.
Communication is at about 5%, as it always has been, and that's even taking into account that it's a home based part time business and adjusting accordingly. Good luck getting a non automated email or call from Scott.
It's time to move on IMO. There's still a difference between getting a return call that something didn't ship versus just waiting with your thumb up your butt to find out that it didn't ship.
This is a public forum and I would love to hear from GOG any response or comments about what I have said here.

A big thanks goes to DGP (Jason) for putting me onto Brad Bowman. I uploaded my graphics for him to see on my Google Drive Account, he gave me a quote, I placed the order and yesterday he shipped it out. How is that for service? Thanks Brad. I look forward to getting this (my second) cabinet under way. :applaud:
John

Wow, what timing. I just placed an order last night, but I tried to order two different marquees and the confirmation screen doesn't show your filenames, so I wrote a ticket asking to confirm that what I wanted was what I was getting. Additionally, I had to re upload and make a change after I sent the order so I emailed Scott directly with my request. I hope I do get a response, or at least the right order!

**Update**
Scott got back to me today (Saturday afternoon) from placing a Friday night order, adjusting my order to get it right. Thanks Scott!

Thanks John and Jason! Don't mean to hijack this thread but I have been getting a lot of emails from people on the forum and have done some graphics for them. I can't seem to get my printing services stickied here and don't want to jump on other peoples toes either, so word of mouth will be fine for me. Thanks for plug on my services and anyone else who would like to try my services please contact me at bjbowman045@gmail.com. Here is my thread in hyperspin with examples, videos and material types I use. http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/forum/showthread.php?14155-Decals-and-Printing-for-your-HyperSpin-Cabinet. (http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/forum/showthread.php?14155-Decals-and-Printing-for-your-HyperSpin-Cabinet.) I own a sign shop and can do cut vinyl and printed graphics for arcades and pinball machine. Thanks.

I recieved my marquee from gameongraphics. I think it looks awesome! However, the $11 extra piece of plexiglass has an edge that was cut crooked. I created a support ticket on their website. Hopefully I can get it resolved.
