Title: How do I switch to another game list in Mala?
Post by: Mikecouil on October 14, 2013, 07:19:20 pm
Another dumb question I know but I didn't see it in the wiki.  I know how to make one but not how to actually use the one I made.  It made it's own list that includes 8000 + games, 6000 of which I don't have.  Is there a simple way to eliminate the games I don't have or do I need to hand make a list?

Thanks in advance :)

Use ROMlister to make custom lists.
Or from within the MaLa folder you have an option to create a list.
I have custom lits I did with ROMlister be it Fighters, Gun Games, etc.
Then in MaLa I did "Mikes Favorites."
It takes time as you go thru the games game by game and add them. But it will give you the desired effect.
Perhaps a better way exists of MaLa only populating the list based on what you have, I'm unsure.

Under Options next to where you set the rom path, there is a checkbox to only include roms that are there.

Whatever buttons you want to use to switch gamelists can be mapped under the controller tab.

Both of these are in the Mala options accessed by right clicking with the mouse while in Mala.
