**** I posted this in the monitor/video section, but thought perhaps it also fit here ? ****
I have my jamma wired Bad Dudes cabinet set up with a 19" LCD.
I use one of the readily available (on eBay) RGA to VGA adapters.
I've used these before and I'm actually using one with my current Final Fight cabinet.
Anyway, I decided I was going to try and adjust the picture as the Bad Dudes didn't quite 100% fill the screen.
I cycled thru the menu many times, trying different resolutions, and trying to move/enlarge the picture.
At one point the picture was very out of wack. I could not seem to get it back to normal. I powered down and powered on and the problem still exists.
When the board comes on I see the title screen, then when it goes to the start screen the image becomes static. I can coin-up and hear the game playing blind so I assume the board itself is fine. Just the adapter will now not display.
Anyone had this issue, can I do anything ?
I tired to unplug and plug back in all connections, even tired resetting the board.
Did my many clicks of the menu button screw up the board ?
EDIT - I can upload a short video when I get home.
Thanks all

Check your power suppling the board. as i recall, those boards have some pretty hefty requirements for power (5 volts at 2 amps (2000 mA) be sure you can supply at LEAST that much.

Cool.
I'll give that a try.
It was working fine............ but the screen wasn't 100% full.
So of course when I hooked up the same product to my Final Fight & @ 640x480 it filled the screen well I HAD TO adjust Bad Dudes.
I cycled thru the menu many times and now it just keeps the same image static on screen and plays blind.
I'll re-check the voltage. It pi$$es me off.

Is your CGA to VGA adapter a Gonbes? Mine does that when the horizontal freq adjustment is set too high. Try changing it from within the adapter menu.

@ rpgposer
Thank you !
That was indeed the issue !
I recall when I was doing the adjustments that I had changed that.
I had however selected DEFAULT --- but I guess it didn't do the trick.
Anyway today I went outside and made the tweaks and I'm very happy that it is now resolved.

*** The other image here is just an image I'm going to print and add to the front of the cabinet. There was an area on the front of the cabinet where the Op had his info under some plexi. I didn't fill the holes I thought it would be cool to add this lil piece of artwork **
