Title: Shooting cabinets with a rifle......
Post by: CoryBee on September 25, 2013, 07:06:20 pm
 :o

Got a call yesterday night...He asked me if I wanted to trade one of my cabinets for 4 Golden Tee Cabinets with game boards and everything but the monitors. I told him I had no real need for them, blah blah blah. TOld him I might know some people who would want the boards and trackball. (friend works at Sac Coin Op)

He goes on to tell me he removed the monitors out of the cabinets and used them for target practice....... :o

I asked why and he said they were either dim, or had some color sync problems that he didn't know how to fix...and if I have learned a bit from listening to you guys yap on about repairing them. This stuff can be fixed? And he is a ##$%*?

Well, not only that, but there are about 15 different heavy toxic substances in there that will contaminate soil.  That's why it is such an elaborate task to have a CRT recycled.

I thought someone would say this. But people make repro coin doors all the time. No one produces Arcade Monitors anymore.

I've found that in most cases how lower intelligence is directly related to one's urge to needlessly destroy things.

Did the cabinet have holes in it?
