Title: help networking in DOS
Post by: dphirschler on November 18, 2003, 04:59:09 pm
I have a DOS only cab and I want to add network support.  Where do I start?  My home network is DHCP.

It's a bit tricky.  Look around on the 'net, there are a few tutorial sites out there.  You basically have to do manually what windows 3.1 did automatically.  If you're comfortable with messing around in dos it shouldn't be too bad, but if you're not you're in trouble.  =)

Here are a couple of links to get you started...

  Good luck!

Thanks to both of you.  Those are great websites for DOS-only systems.  I'll let you know my progress setting up the network.
