Hi everybody,
My name is Daniel and I'm a spanish arcade fan. I love everything related with the arcade artwork design and recently I've recreated the Smash TV artworks (you can follow the entire process here (http://arcadeforever.forumfree.it/?t=62779567)).
In order to vectorize them, these were the source files I've used:
Marquee --->Arcadeartlibrary
Side Arts and bezel---> Flyer from arcarc.xmission.com
25'' CPO---> A photograph taken by Mojave James and shared on Flickr
19'' CPO---> Once finished the 25'' version it was really easy to adapt to the 19'' cabinet
Instructions and identity card---> Photographs taken by Vongoosewink, Arcade Museum Forum

They can be used as they are right now to build a new cabinet, for example, but if you want to make them 100% accurate you may need to do a measument check and color correction to match the original one. Since I don't own this cabinet, I'm not able to do it :'(
They are available to download from Vectorlib (http://vectorlib.free.fr/SmashTV/) (Thanks Zorg ;)), Arcade Art library (http://arcadeartlibrary.com/arcade_art/index.php) and Arcade Forever Forum (http://arcadeforever.forumfree.it/).
Enjoy them!! ;)
Regards :)
Macromedia Freehand MX (ver.11) files are not supported by Illustrator CS2, you need to convert them to Freehand 9 version :(. Anyway, I donīt recomend it. I had some bad experiences in the past about handling files converted into many different formats (missing gradient sections, uneditable elements, moved shapes, weird colors, etc).
Take a look at the video labelled as 2. Migrating Existing FreeHand Content on this webpage (http://www.lynda.com/Freehand-10-tutorials/migrating-from-freehand-to-illustrator-cs2/269-2.html) and you will understand what I mean.
I know that having this files in Freehand format is a little bit annoying, sorry :embarassed:, but I've tried to migrate to Illustrator a lot of times without any success. As Freehand is really easy to use, I feel really confortable working with it (I'm very lazy, I know :D). When I want to edit the final file to add some effects I just drag and drop the entire object into Photoshop and there it is, ready to the next step ::).
Another option would be uploading 300dpi images. I can post you the links, if you prefer ;)
Edit:
I've just found this funny video: Freehand vs Illustrator.
