Title: Anyone use Vcoleco for colecovision emulation or NeoPop for NGPC?
Post by: arcadecab on November 18, 2003, 03:54:23 pm
I am trying to get Vcoleco and NeoPop to launch a rom to full screen upon choosing the game.  The both have the option to go to full screen after the game has already been launched, but I want the rom to automatically go to full screen when selected.  Anyone use these emulators and know of a way to make this happen?  It would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

You could use Howard's generic key press simulator wrapper...Howard's wrappers are good stuff.  ;)

Spaced Invader,

Thanks for the reply.  I downloaded the wrapper from Howard's site--Keypress simulator, I believe version 2.0.  My question is now what?  I downloaded an .ini file and an .exe file.  and clicked on the .exe file, but got an error message of somekind and I couldn't go any farther.  Any tips on how to get the wrapper to work and to assign the escape key as the exit game/emulator function--similiar to MAME?
Thanks for any help.

Read the ini...Howard documents inside his ini's... I can look at it later if you need me to (haven't used it myself). But I'm a daysleeper and it's time for bed. There are other solutions to your problem (launchers that push buttons for you...but Howard's wrappers are the only way I know to quit an app with the esc key...if the app doesn't support that natively)
