Title: WG K7400 Yoke readings
Post by: Gamemaster86 on September 13, 2013, 03:36:51 pm
Hi would anybody who has a Wells Gardner K7400 chassis and matching tube, be able to check their yoke readings for me?

It;s just I have a suspicion theres something wrong with mine. I'm getting 01.1 on Horizontal and 06.2 on Vertical but i'm having geometry issues so trying to track i down.

Would really help me out.

For reference the Sticker on both the chassis and tube is WG 2036840

Thanks in advance

Hmmm my reading are pretty worrying....

Green and Yellow plug (Vertical I think) I got 06.7 and Red and Blue plug (Horizontal I think) I got 01.1

I took the readings by putting the probes into each of the 2 sockets with the power off

p.s it is not a sony tube
but just in case i am wrong ?
then it would be a flat-planer style tube

ok off hand are u measuring ohm's olny ?
if so un-plug the yoke
and do the measure
as my list covers both
:mh: and :res:
now make sure as u were asked  in the other thread chk the caps
as 1 b+ is getting loaded
now with the horz back in shape ?
u want to find the :vert: problem
just so happen's thats the feed line to to vert output ic.
there is a cap in that circuit that will tend to go a bit south and do the exact problem u are having, but without an esr meter u will just have to plug away>as it is said<
and it will be a small cap 1mf/2.2mf/4.7 some where in that range

p.s thk-u i thought it was a philips
use the rca #'s as rca built the tube
