Title: Loong Delay after "ESC" key to main menu is issued

I'm evaluating Maximus and so far have encountered perhaps a document annoyance.  When a game ends, and I press the the ESC key to return back to the Maximus main menu, it shows a black screen for what seems like eternity before it goes back to the main screen.

Any ideas - I like the application, and would consider it for sure, but the above mentioned is a real deal breaker - I know it's probably somethign I"m not doing right.

I just hold it down a little longer, no big deal.  Great software.
