Title: Baby Pac-Man
Post by: marioxb on September 11, 2013, 08:55:22 am
What's the best (emulated) way to play this game, and Granny and the Gators? (And yes, I know, the best way is probably not at all.. lol). All of the guides I've found online are outdated and the links within the guides no longer exist.

Is there any way to play them on two separate screens, on a setup like this, if a joystick was added?:

Of course the small screen would probably be blank I suppose.

Also, if I want to play just the "Pac-Man" portion of Baby Pac-Man, what is the best hacked version (usually of Ms. Pac-Man I guess) that plays closest to the real one (but with the better ghost AI and energizers of course).

Did you try on Visual Pinball/Pin Mame?

This one should work with 2 screens:

I checked it out on Pin Mame and it works pretty well.  There are a few versions but they all have the original game as well as a simulated version of the pinball.

Thanks. I don't have a computer currently (I can get on at work or library), but I will have to check that out. I was a little upset that I lost my Baby Pac cabinet (non working, but had all the pinball parts-- I think). If I can play it another way, I guess I'll be ok. And of course, no moving parts to break down is a plus.

I was never a big Pac-Man fan, but I LOVED Baby Pac.  I don't know, something about combining two totally different game types that way just made it stick in my brain in a way straight Pac never did...

I do like Pac-Man, (not very good at it though), but I pretty much feel the same way as you about Baby Pac. I also love Battle Royale.
