Hey guys,
I am planning a new build which will be a slim, 2player like a koenigs.dk style.. Anyways, I am seeking advise for my artwork and name for cabinet. First off what theme should I do? I have a few ideas (please do not take) Here are my ideas and things I like.
-Pro wrestling.... Monday Night wars? WCW vs WWF?
-Pro wrestling- Ultimate Warrior theme!
-Metal music? ie) Metallica, Pantera etc?
-Metal music- Sepultura theme
-Mix of Retro game characters...
-Demoncade 3? demons, and fire and such
-Enjoy Horror movies, ie) zombies etc....
-Action movies... I enjoy Stallon, Arnold etc.
-Suoer hero? big fan of batman and superman...maybe spiderman too.
Ok so those are my few ideas...my next question is how much for someone to design it? (I would want marquee, side art, panel., front too....
Even though my cabinet is not build yet, I need to start thinking about colours!

I'm sorry, couldn't resist. You've got a good list of themes to choose from there. Is there a certain game that will be the focus of the build, like a wrestling game, or HOTD or something like that. You can have a MAME rig and still focus the theme around one game. That tends to work out really well. An update to the art used on the original superman cab could be really cool. You could reprogram Journey to ICP masks and change the music for a wicked theme - mix horror and music. Tons of wrestling cabs out there to take inspiration from. I'd probably pick a favorite game and mod the art for a nice custom look.

LOL! I know game characters is original.. ehehe.. I am leaning towards a wrestling game, but I want it to be unique..... I think I have narrowed it down to 4 ideas.... 1. The monday night wars..., 2. Ultimate warrior dedicated, 3. "Ultimate Challenge-WM 6-Hogan vs Warrior" or 4. Wrestlefest upgraded!
I think I will have to hire out for that..... I am leaning to 3. as it was my favourite wrestlemania.... I just need to decide so I can figure out colours...... no rush for the artwork..
Can anyone design this sort of thing?

Hey Demon-Seed, if you go with either a Metal Music, or Wrestling theme, my other artist BitterP is a big fan of both these things and would be able to do something nice and custom for you (we're a two-man art crew!). Not copied images from the net, stuff created from scratch.
Personally I'm backed up on a couple art projects for other members here, but he just finished up an Iron Maiden themed CP for another member here, and it turned out pretty cool! His schedule is freed up a bit (he's still working on one more, but he's ready for more work), if you're interested.
