I wanted to thank everyone for helping me through this project. It was very enjoyable. And.... I now officially have the bug. As soon as I can find room in my house, I would love to build a full cabinet.
Here are some pictures of the finished project. It works awesome. I have the following set up.
2 8 Way Joysticks for 1P and 2P
1 4 Way Joystick for 1P
6 buttons for each player
1P, 2P, Coin1, Coin2, Pause, and Shazaaam! Key.
Got it all hooked up to a Keywiz Max. I was going to use the switching ability of the max to hook my PS/2 keyboard up to it and toggle it but decided to go with a USB keyboard and not fuss with it.
I projected the underside of the controller with a sheet of lexan, plus it makes it look cool for examination!
Thanks again everyone.... I love this stuff... ;D ;D

Looks great from that end! I like the lexan idea. I suck at cutting lexan though, but I am thinking that I might need to do it anyway for mine.

Looks good how easy was it to work with that Keywhiz?? I've heard good things about 'em.
