So im building a bartop for a nefew with just a few games, everything its going smooth, i got mame 117 setup with the diff patch, i even modified the mame.c in the source to not display the savestate loading mesage, so that way games would load at the game screen instead of the garbage boot screen, i got hyperspin setup, but i didnt like that i can still see the loading screen everytime i choose a game, its just for a second or two,so i thoutgh that maybe it can be disable as same as the savestate mesage screen, just cant seem to find where its located in the mame source.
So if any one can help,thanks alot.

:cheers: If you read my mesage, i mention i did applied that patch, in fact it did succesfully, but i still can see a loading screen, ill see if i can take pictures of it.

Do you mean the message of the loading of the saved state?

i mean the loading mesage where 0 from 100% shows, i do have the savestate mesage hidden allready. It just shows a quick porcent loading screen wich i wanna get rid off too.

Isn't it from your FrontEnd? I never saw a loading percentage in MAME even for the larger ROM sets...
