Hello again!
Pacman has a native res of 288x224 - cant be done by my gfx cause of the low dotclock...
Switchres chooses for some reason 400x288 (!)
Of course i would like to use the 576x224 - how can i force this?
Please specify line in .ini file!
Thx!

Pretty sure it's all good there
you're using the monitor in horizontal mode right? so...
288 is the vertical height, and I believe both resolutions you have listed have the 2 switched around...(due to being in horizontal mode)
so:
height x width 288 x 224
width x height 400 x 288
pretty sure that's how it works

Rookie mistake! :censored: :banghead:
Thx, again, Sledge!
Just is there any reason for that 400 when the actual res is 288 - i suppose this is to keep aspect cause of the hor/vert orienation...
Right?
Regards, R.

The extra res is for padding on the sides to keep the correct picture ratio yes
the 400 doesn't coincide with the 288.. it's to do with the 224
288 is the height (which you are getting the full 288 lines)

Sure sure...
should have thought of the V/H conversion myself...
However thx for your support, again... :tool:
Happy to tell that after a little controller wiring this late morning my now 4year old son has been playing his very first game of pacman on an now authentic cab...
