Title: Interest check Magstick Plus mounting adapter plates
Post by: gatordad on August 29, 2013, 02:11:08 pm
I like to use the magstick plus joysticks from ultimarc for the multi's I build and sell. I really like that you can switch from 4 to 8 way from the top of the panel without opening the game up, Its a great feature to show potential buyers and the price for the stick is decent. A few times a year as time permits I build multigames to sell and make a little hobby money to either buy more games or save towards a pin.

If anyone else has used this stick on the multipanels that are available from the likes of arcadeshop or mikes arcade you are aware that the bolt patterns are different and the magstick plus is not a drop right in solution.

I grew tired of fabricating my own adapter plates and I am awaiting a quote on a small run of adapter plates that will allow for drop in installation in an existing control panel with the standard happ or wico joystick  bolt pattern.

I had only planned on running a small number of these but if anyone is interested let me know now.

Please post here if you are interested.

I would think it would be the same cost - maybe cheaper overall - to just get the entire control made with the correct mounting holes.

Cut out the middle man...

Ya, thats like 10 minutes of work for a CNC machine and a brake (metal bender) - then powder coating.

You might have to older like 500 - 1000 though.... hehe
