Hey guys,
I could use your advice on a jukebox I recently purchased. I bought a rowe cd100f venus a couple of days ago. When I bought it I noticed there was very little sound coming from the upper right side speakers (both subs and left side speakers worked fine). I thought the right side speakers may have been blown. They weren't. I'm also getting a hiss noise from the jukebox when it's plugged up but not playing. I've done some research on this site and checked the obvious things it listed like cold solder joints and from what I can tell everything looks okay on that end. If anyone can give me some advice as to what may be causing these problems I'd be extremely grateful. Thanks

Hiss - perhaps the mute switch isn't activating? I would make sure it's funtional and properly activating.

lots of these amps get a little "leaky" on the transistors. thats where the hiss comes from. it's usually because of the driver boards. updating the driver boards to the new re-designed board usually fixes this issue. (turns the transistors fully off.)
there is often issues with the caps on the crossover board. they will probably need to be replaced (bi-polar caps)
you may also have one channel completely out. the sub on both sides will seem to work, but it's because the subs share the airspace behind the cone...so one speaker makes the other one move.
you can test this by disconnecting the left channel and feeling if the right side has now stopped.
