I cannot for the life of me find the following game. I believe it was atari console or intellivision or something of that general era, I know you guys know what it is!
Basically it was 2 players, you controlled hillside turrets and you took turns firing at each other. There was wind and both turrets had a zoomed in frame on either side of the screen. Game was simple, shoot the other guy by picking power and angle. Mostly green hillsides.
What is the name of this game and what system was it on? Sorry, I was pretty young when I remember this one and cannot for the life of me find it.
Thanks all!

I swear remember playing a game exactly like this back in the early/mid 80's, most likely on an Atari 800. Somewhere I have a list of all the games I had on disk, I'll have to dig it out and give it a look thru.

Artillery Duel for the 2600?

My favorite variant is Scorched Eatrth. (PC/DOS)

It has a great variety of weapons and defensive measures.

Huge fan of scorched earth here! Human Cannonball was along the same premise as well.

No, unfortunately none of these are right. I remember the graphics being better than artillery duel, but it was like that with the 2D hillside, but both turrets had a zoomed in view on either side of the screen.
Anyone else have any idea? It may not have been on the Atari, but this was the mid-late 80's when I remember seeing/playing it.

Ding! Ding! Ding! (Kinda)
I believe what I'm after is the Coleco version of this. Possibly the C64 version. Will have to play around with them and see.
Thanks guys!

I remember playing a DOS version where it was two monkeys/gorillas throwing bananas at each other. Any idea what the title was?
