Title: Unknown SVGA Monitor Problem with displaying resolutions
Post by: Cowboy Mac on November 17, 2003, 10:48:19 am
Hi, I have a Namco Exleena II and I bought it with a SVGA 27" monitor installed, it was supposedly a Nanao. I need to find out the model number so I can configure the horizontal and vertical sync rates in AdvanceMAME. The problem is there is no identifying marker on the monitor to indicate a brand or model, so I am unsure how I will find this out. At the moment I cant configure it to play many things as the picture is continually distorted, however some games with some resolutions will work. Is there any kind of utility that can run tests on the monitor to determine the h and v syncs? Will Andy's ArcadeVGA be of any assistance here in helping my resolutions? At the moment I am using an Asus v3400 NVidia TNT 2. Any suggestions appreciated! Thanks  :)
