Title: USB HID hardware redirection via RDP (remote desktop) - is it possible?
Post by: arzoo on August 25, 2013, 11:13:46 pm
Hi All,
Here's my situation - I've built a Windows XP virtual machine using Hyper-v on a Win8 pc. Hyper-v does not support USB redirection so I'm using RDP to connect to my virtual Win XP pc, which does support USB redirection. The problem is, I need to detect LED hardware (LEDWiz, PACLED64, etc) on the Win XP vm but these devices don't seem to be supported by RDP? Any thoughts on how I can get this to work?

Thanks!

USB over Ethernet client software...

I used Eltima USB over Ethernet years ago and I could link a TV tuner to a remote PC on my lan with it. Worked a treat for me....
