Frontends make it easy to create Favorite lists and/or delete games that you don't want or that don't work. It's way more difficult with MAME4Droid Reloaded. I'd love to be able to pick and choose which games I want from the list of roms to copy to the microSD rather than try and do it in MAME4Droid Reloaded. For example, I know that "bzone" is "Battlezone", but is there a complete list of what is what I can see as reference?
TIA!

You can make a list in Romlister, then have it output a batch file that will copy the appropriate roms to another folder for you.
http://www.waste.org/~winkles/ROMLister/ (http://www.waste.org/~winkles/ROMLister/)
...or just use it as a reference.
...or type the rom name in http://www.progettoemma.net/ (http://www.progettoemma.net/) (Ricerca Rapida)
I don't recall how many total roms there are in MAME.
Enough that a printed list isn't practical.

Thanks, guys! I was looking for something simple like this, but alphabetical by zip name, not game name:

But Romlister may work too! I noticed that you can alphabetize by zip name with it.

I use sortinfo to do this. I believe that the version of roms is based on 0.139
Here is a csv from 0.137 that should have all the info you want in it. Use Excel or similar to view.

That's perfect!! Exactly what I was looking for.....thanks! I was even able to open it using GoodReader on my iPad.

I'm sure PL1 will chime in with diagrams and links to get you squared away soon enough.
:lol No need for diagrams, just one link.
I use MAMEUIFX (http://mame32fx.altervista.org/download.htm) since it has a search field on the toolbar that shows all games that have that text string as you type, shows parent/child ROMs, and allows ROM auditing from a right-click menu.
I keep a full set of ROMs in an archive subdirectory and only copy ROMS that I want on my playlist to the roms directory.
It would be very easy to dump it to an SD card as well as to the roms folder then right-click audit it in MAMEUIFX to see if that game needs anything else. (parent ROM, driver, etc.)
