Did they add an extra zero to the price? ???

But it is high end and contemporary....
Not to mention it has a 60 in 1 board and those have perfect emulation! /sarcasm
-
Meh. For 4 bills, I'd expect it to at least have had the stick mounting hardware hidden.
But, the overall design does have that minimal/scandanavian look going for it.
-
Are we happily heading towards another economic catastrophe?
Looks like nobody is learning from previous mistakes. ::)
-
For 4 grand, you'd think they'd at least make room for your feet, not to mention cup holders, an ashtray, and holsters.
/me ducks
Scam
-
Joystick mounting bolt fail.
I'd be proud if I made it, but wouldn't expect to get more than $600 for it.
-
It's hard to tell from the pics but the finish looks pretty dang nice. It'd take a good bit of prep work to get a finish like that (case in point, ONDs cab). But still, it's mostly flat panels.
600$ seems a little low, but 4000$ seems way too high, esp if it's just a dedicated 60-1 board and not a PC that you could add games to.
Maybe he's targeting the 1000$ speaker cable crowd http://www.thecableco.com/Product/Premium-Line-Mk-2 (http://www.thecableco.com/Product/Premium-Line-Mk-2) :)

Wait. People lure you in with something that has an astronomical price tag just to rob you on Craigslist? What a story.
The whole thing looks 'shopped. Plus who in their right mind uses 1/2 glass on top. Everyone knows the standard is 5 1/2 inches. Scam.
-
Come to think of it, I swear I've seen that design here before.
-
$4k is too low. I'm going to need at least $5k to consider putting that in my home.
-
Nice try, CoryBee. You can't fool us. You're testing out your new marketing, aren't you?
:D

Naw, if it were Cory's, it'd be shaped like a T. Homeboy likes his right angles. /me ducks

You have, it's the Stealth cab from a company that was based in Australia. Stealth was offered in black, white or red (according to the 3D renders). It looks like it retailed for about $3,500 Aussie. Around $3100 US according to Google.
The website is MIA and doesn't look like it has had any maintenance in some time. It's just a template at this point. Leverage the Wayback Machine to see what http://www.arcadetables.com.au/ (http://www.arcadetables.com.au/) used to look like.
I'm surprised that cab ever actually appeared in someones hands much less CL in the U.S.
My initial impression was that this was some schmuck who can't value a cab properly but then I realized how detailed his description is, like mentioning that it's "German designed." It was a bullet point on the original website. He also mentioned MOMA which has an arcade collection (http://www.moma.org/explore/inside_out/2012/11/29/video-games-14-in-the-collection-for-starters?utm_source=social&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=blog%2Bpost%2B11-29-12). I guess he's trying to find some schmuck to pay out that much for that thing.

Thanks for the info boss. Didn't realize it made it all the way around the world, let a lone to California.
Love history lessons.

I didn't realize high-end equated to making something look like you ordered it from IKEA. Good to know.

IKEA is a mystery to me. Wifey wanted me to modify a piece with a rounded corner. "No problem I say." I figure it would take me more time to find the router bit than it would to round the corners.
I was thinking this was really easy until the router collapsed straight into the panel and nearly into another panel. So I spent two days deducing how to repair a 1.5" thick panel filled with 1.4" of cardboard. That experience has completely changed the modification factor IKEA boasts about.
CrapMart can take some tips from IKEA on how to sell air.
