Title: Sega model 3 scud race running slow, please help!

Dear forum members,
little help guys. My laptop is running star wars and lost world fine, but I know that scud race needs some messing around in order for weak processors to work. It says the default is 50 mhz, and it suggests under clocking the pc, in order to eliminate slow down. Ignorant question, how do I do that? If I lower to 25 mhz, would it work, and is there an easy way to do it (maybe through the config.ini file?) Any help is much appreciated!

Model 3 needs a good PC to run smoothly. I suggest lowering the resolution. I have mine set to 56. I dont know what that number actually does but, I had to play around with number until I found one that made Daytona's amusement park level play smoothly.
