Is it safe to use VNC, logmein, or other remote software on your Groovymame machine or will it mess with any settings? I use VNC to connect to my box so I can setup the software; however, I know these software usually install mirror video drivers. I'm in the process of setting everything up and Have been using VNC and I'm about to connect my WG D7000 for the first time.

Hi wglong,
Yes, this kind of software is known to cause issues. Usually people who reported GroovyMAME running full speed, which is a sympthom of a non working v-sync functionality, found that disabling remote control software fixed the problem. This doesn't mean, however, that *all* remote control software must cause conflicts. But definitely I would avoid it unless I'm 100% sure it won't cause issues.
