Title: Groovy Game Gear CLASSX Buttons?
Post by: MastarArcade on August 05, 2013, 11:47:59 am
Does anyone happen to know the mechanical dimensions of these buttons? The Groovy Game Gear Website doesn't seem to have the info.

Specifically, I'm wondering if they will fit in to the 1-1/16" diameter hole for Nintendo Control Panels.  I have a metal Nintendo VS Unisystem Control panel, and I only want to bore it out more as a last resort.

Thanks!

If they weren't 1-1/8", Randy would mention the size on the page.

Ahh sorry, I don't mean 1-1/8", I made a typo. Should have been 1-1/16"

Standard hole size, for those. Same as Happ/IL buttons. 1 1/8"

I think I'm being misunderstood.

I am trying to put them in a Nintendo VS Control Panel, 1 1/16" hole size.

Do you have a micrometer/pair of calipers like this for accurate readings?

GGG Arcade Prime buttons are 1.095".

Happ/IL buttons are 1.100".

Paradise translucent LED buttons are 1.093".

Paradise black-rimmed LED buttons are 0.966".

Goldleaf buttons are 1.088".

Those are all the arcade-size buttons I have.

Hey, thanks for the feedback.

... I do need to get some calipers. I'll have to bump this up the priority queue.
