Hi, so basically the situation I'm currently in is as follows: Ive got my machine set up running GroovyMAME + ArcadeVGA3000 with ultimarc drivers + J-PAC + Hantarex MTC 9000 + win7. I've just came into possession of an ATI HD4500 graphics card and I've read that these are more configurable than the AVGA3000's. My question is is it worth changing the cards over and if i was to do so whats the best way to set it up with regard to which version of windows, calamity drivers? soft15? etc.
Thanks

Right at this moment if you don't use the AVGA then you will probably need to go back to Windows XP
you do get more resolutions available.. but whether you need more than the AVGA supplies.. I don't know

If you're happy with your AVGA then there's no need to change. I just found my old AVGA seriously limited when it came to supporting certain resolutions & refresh rates which I consider fundamental (Irem games). Some people just run everything at 60 Hz and are quite happy anyway.
Yes, until CRT Emudriver for W7 is released, which should happen soon, you'll need use Windows XP.
