Hi I have recently aquired a Rowe Ami R85 Starlight.
I have got the music side all working correctly, now I want to get the lights working, it looks like some one has done some DIY on the wiring & connected all the wires from the Lamp Control unit.
Is there anyway to check the board & lights are working or where the problem area maybe?
Thanks

Hello Bonzo,
Welcome to the forum.
What country do you live in and what is your name?
The lamps required are 14 volts (DO NOT USE 12 VOLT!) miniture wedge if you have the black bases you can pull out the wedge lamp and just fit a new one it is a lot cheaper. The temptation by so called engineers and owners of these jukeboxes to use the 12 volt grey or white lamp holders puts an extra load on the sound to light unit the worst case I have seen is the complete burn out of the jukebox, but usually it is a burnt out socket on the PCB.
You can set the sound to light unit to static on the switch.

Hi Alan
My name is Del, I live near London, England.
I have tried all the selections on the sound to light controller but the lights still don't work, I have checked the lamps & there is a selection of black & white bases.

Hello Dell,
I tend to do most of the Rowe Ami repairs in the UK especially on the circuit boards from the 1976 R-80S right up to the R-94 on the vinyl jukesbox and proportion of the CD. Our customers can be from all over the world, USA, Australia, France, Germany, Belgium, Hong Kong to name but a few.
I suggest that you contact me direct in view to have you light controller tested/repaired.
Regards
Alan
