Title: Splatterhouse/Pacland/Skykid not syncing using ATI HD4350?
Post by: Ex_mosquito on July 26, 2013, 12:56:43 pm
Hi guys, I'm having a strange problem here. I'm using Groovymame+CRT_Emudrivers through an ATI HD4350. I just loaded Splatterhouse and for some reason the screen won't sync. I've tried other similar age Namco games and the same happens with those as well: Pacland,Skykid etc...

Does this gfx card have trouble working with the older Namco games? I've not had this problem with any other game.

Cheers guys. Mark.

Ah wait, it's working in Groovymame. I was just testing something quick in the normal MameUI and old Namco games don't sync in there, on Groovymame it's fine. Is there any reason why the CRT_Emudrivers would stop normal MameUI working? It used to work with the normal ATI drivers, but with horrible tearing of course. I noticed the CRT_Emudrivers made my GGPO /final burn (fighting games online) emulator stop working when using the native resoultion, the only way I can play GGPO/final burn now is by using hardware stretching effects etc.. But it looks awful now. Any ideas?

Thanks guys, Mark.

Groovymame is fine though! ;)

Heya Calamity. Yeah, it seems to have resolved itself now since I ran the cat-uninstaller and reinstalling the CRT_Emudrivers.

Everything is working great again now thanks ;)
