I've tried and failed to find a top-view pool game I liked in the arcade. I think it was controlled by a trackball and you competed against the clock and could win money (I think) and bonuses if you potted in the pocket with the bonus on and so on.
It was newer than Side Pocket I think but looked similar. It played faster though. Any ideas?

It it was an actual gambling one there are hundreds not found / dumped / emulated yet..
'Billiard Academy Real Break' is a lot like Side Pocket, but isnt' trackball and doesn't contain the elements you ask about..

Was it "Gimme a Break" ?

EDIT: Not to be confused with "Give us a Break" which was a snooker based quiz game.

I don't think so. I think it was later than that and Gimme a Break seems poor with too many balls on the table. Memory changes things though doesn't it!
