That is so totally a bucket list cab for me - I didn't know you had picked one up. Are you loving it?
Looks gorgeous!
-
Totally digging it.
It was a fun restore- and I overpaid a bit for the machine- but it was fully working with a decent cabinet.
Anything can be restored quite nicely when you toss money and time at it! ;D
....but I enjoyed the ride.
-
It sure is pretty...
For me the restore is always more fun than playing the game...except for the first few games played upon completion of course.
Care to indulge any of the dirty details in regards as to how much this cost you?
-
The machine delivered was $3500.
The parts- ballpark- and not including my time were around -- $2500......I'm in way over the actual value of the machine. But for me it isn't about the value- it's about making it as pristine as I can (within my skill set).....
Where's PinJim to tell me what I dope I am for spending so much ?...... :banghead:

<PBJ>Man, why in the heck did you spend so much? You could easily pick up one of those tired games off of Craigslist for like $50. Just show up with cash and a strapon. Rudy is such a lame gimmick anyways I don't understand how anyone can like it. Probably just due to oral fixation.</PBJ>
TBH, looks like you did a nice job on the restore. Wish I had one. Not making any progress on my Paragon restore cept making more piles of parts. :(

Used to have a paragon. Loved that machine. How long you had yours?

Around six months I spose. Playfield is pretty rough....worn to wood in quite a few spots. I have 98% of the stuff stripped off the top.....need to strip the bottom of the playfield.......repair, paint and probably clearcoat. Then can put it back together.

If you have the means, why the hell not enjoy it.
I always liked PBJ's 'low end' fixes and restores, they were excellent evidence that you can get into the pin hobby without destroying your bank account, but I never got his apparent hatred for high-end pins.
That said, The Funhouse looks awesome. I'm in the hunt for a Road Show currently, because 2 talking heads on a playfield will undoubtedly be twice the fun!

In a few years the way PinFlation is headed your 6G investment could turn a profit upon resale.
You know the Lost Shepard HATED FUNHOUSE with a passion...he was always spouting how he could never play the game ever again.

Paragon is a GREAT competition game. Very common in tournaments and league play here in New England. Even when the competition is in someone's home there often seems to be a Paragon (or a Genie).

Looks awesome.
Last one I played was a PBHOF and that playfield was all goofed up.
I just loved that game in the 90s.
