I want to order a Lexan control panel overlay since I have to order 2 plexiglass sheets for my marquee.
What lexan thickness do you usally use? Are 2 mm lexan okay?
When I need to drill the holes (I'm planning on a control panel sandwich, drilling through my existing holes), I used a spade drill to drill my 30mm button holes. I've seen people using different techniques..
1. Frostner drill
2. Router (I don't have a router atm).
Will either do fine?

I did mine by clamping the plexi to the CP, and drill holes in each button, then route each hole. Way faster that way, you can zip to each button hole and do the perimeter. No need to overthink it.

I use a dremel with the lexan clamped to the CP.

There is no need to use polycarbonate(Lexan) acrylic is better suited for a CPO. I used 1.5mm Acrylic.
