Title: jukebox stopped working
Post by: bonbeat on July 11, 2013, 07:02:24 pm
We bought a used jukebox ROWE ami.  I know nothing about them.  I worked great for a day.  Then I turned it off.  The next time I powered it up it did not work.  I got a message that says RAM ERROR, correct ccc.  What is a RAM and a ccc?  How do I reset it?  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks, Bonnie

It might be a dead battery. The "RAM" refers to a RAM chip used to store memory. The CCC is your "Central Computer Control".

You can try a factory restore and see if that works for you. That will load the defaults. Turn the juke box off. Pull out the service plunger. Hold the "0 & 1" button down. Then turn the juke box back on while holding the "0&1" buttons down. I'm going WAY back in my memory here but I think that is how a factory restore is done on a Rowe. If that gets the juke box working and then when you shut it off and it comes up with those errors again I'm thinking your battery is probably dead. You really should get a manual for the juke box if you don't have one. Which Rowe Juke box is it? What model?

Hello Bonnie,

Welcome to the forum.

Karetaker has answered most of your questions but we do need to know what model your Rowe Ami is so we can best advise you, you should find a model number on the back of the jukebox or on a sticker in the jukebox.
If you can not find the information upload a picture of the front of the jukebox and I can tell you what model it is.

Regards
Alan
