I have a 21 month old son, and he had ahold of my keyboard while I had Mozilla open. Mozilla now has a cursor appearing on the screen where I click. The arrow keys move this cursor around the screen rather than simply scrolling the page like I'd like it to do. I have no idea what he did to make it do this, but this is not desirable behavior from my point of view. Does anyone have any idea what he might have done or what I might do to revert back to, well, not-this?
I'm running Mozilla 1.4.1 on Linux (can't remember what kernel version right now) in KDE 3.0.
Any suggestions, requests for more info, etc. greatly appreciated.
Edit: Restarting Mozilla didn't help. Restarting X didn't help. Restarting my system didn't help.
Edit: A quick Google search found me the answer. Mozilla was in "caret" mode, which is toggled by pressing F7. Caret mode apparently makes Mozilla act like a word processor in how it scrolls around.
Problem solved.

sorry i can't help but it's a cute story. i'm glad my daughter has stopped opening the cd drive and playing with my cds for the most part.

We finally had to put covers on our machines to get him to stop opening the CD drives and turning the machines off. I had to take my CD-ROM drive apart (yes, the drive itself) after he "helpfully adjusted" it. He manages to find features on my wife's machine that she didn't even know where there.
