http://www.groovygamegear.com/ (http://www.groovygamegear.com/) RandyT's Groovy Game Gear is UK friendly. And they dispatch orders quickly. I have put this because not only is he a sound bloke but he also sells a tool to do the groove for T-Mold which I haven't seen in the UK
http://www.hazelelectronics.co.uk/ (http://www.hazelelectronics.co.uk/) Do a whole selection of 'Real' arcade kit. I see they have Sega and Taito parts amongst other things. No prices online but if you find something you want you can always give them a buzz. Old fashioned retail. I like it.

Arcade World UK is the new name for Gremlin Solutions.
You can also go direct to SuzoHapp (http://www.suzohapp.co.uk/)

Hello Chris,

Its a start but maybe the first post needs editing with all the suppliers so for us lazy people so we don't have to read through all the posts to find a supplier. I also looked at the vendors list mentioned in that thread but to be honest there are only a couple of UK suppliers on there and so I think it needs updating, can anyone edit the wiki? If so I might have a look myself.

Dunno about SuzoHapp on that side of the pond, but over here they severely overcharge for shipping and "handling".
It only gives you a shipping estimate at checkout, and then they charge your credit card for more than the estimate.
I was once charged $30 shipping on four VLT buttons that I couldn't find anywhere else. There are also a couple tales on here of them breaking up an order into 3 smaller parts and charging $20 shipping on each part.
The owner of Ultimarc is a member here, posts regularly, and supports his products.
It is definitely the way to go in the UK.

I think that is the frustration us UK buyers have, there are plenty of US vendors but the shipping charges are always gonna hurt, especially if ordering small, cheap items. It makes me laugh that I can buy cheap things from Hong Kong with $0.01 shipping costs and yet to send a letter a mile away in the UK it costs 50p second class! So I don't know if they actually overcharged you or whether that was the true cost but I think I would go for the latter.

Ultimarc http://www.ultimarc.com (http://www.ultimarc.com) - I had assumed it was US. because everytime I go there its in US Dollars. I thought sod it they got some good kit on there.

I would add:
http://www.hazelelectronics.co.uk/ (http://www.hazelelectronics.co.uk/)
The website isn't great in that it doesn't show prices, but the guy who runs it is friendly and I got a coin mech for cheaper than anywhere else I could find. Recommended!

Good shout Minwah. :applaud: Its been added to the masterlist.

Hmm. Well, I only got two small side art stickers for my bartop. cost me £12.38, arrived the next day. I seem to recall the quote being the same as printed.com, but I had a question for printed and they were a little slow in replying so i went with diginate. I have nothing else to compare them to, but here is a paste from my invoice, without the 15% discount:
Vinyl Stickers
Shape: custom shape
Material: gloss
Finishing option: supply as individuals
Width: 15.2cm
Height: 23.6cm
Quantity: 2
Price (ex-VAT): £12.38

Hmmm. Print quality looks good though mate? Is it?
That is a lovely bit of art thanks to JDFan I will be using it for my sides (Bartop).
Yeah I had that from Printed too and others. I wish we had a GameOnGraphics type thing in the UK.
Just had a play on it its CMs. not MM. So sizes can be as big as you need. Also, I note that when you buy more there is an automated discounting system . So if you did buy more of them its cheaper. For sure.
Prices inc VAT quoted online - same size as yours same options:
Qty 4 £20.91
Qty 8 £32.87
Qty 12 £44.60
I personally now think at 12 for 45? Its a decent price. Clearly advantageous to order more at once. I'm aving some of that :P
Its on now. :applaud:  Cheers Foxy
-
Print quality is excellent. As you say, the artwork is all thanks to JDFan. Good luck with yours, would like to see a pic of the finished result.
Hmm...I Wonder what kit/facilities you would need to start a gameongrafix type service in the uk ? ...
-
Well. I might be wrong but some of the printers they have now? Wow! And they have most of the features needed out of the box. I think it would certainly be a good one to go with but any new venture is risky.
Perhaps somewhere like Diginate could accommodate more GoG type orders. Best way to go rather than straight in cold. They are geared for it already.
Great!
Yeah will do some posts.
Cool mate. Cheers Foxy.

I hope this is appropriate here, but does anyone know of a business that will send some t-molding samples?
I have asked one of the businesses on this list, but it's been a week now and not even an email acknowledgement - even a 'no' would do.
I would be happy to recommend businesses here when I order parts, but as yet, I cannot.
-
you can order t moulding samples form ArcadeWorldUK.com they charge £3.59 for about 6 or so small strips of different colours, also through eBay.
