Title: More than one rom directory in MameWah?
Post by: creatine28 on November 13, 2003, 12:39:29 pm
Is it possible to use more than one rom directory in MameWah?   Can you use the Delimiter thing?

c:\mame\roms; c:\mame\roms2

Thanks!

Currently, mamewah only supports one directory.  This has been talked about alot lately. Apparently it used to support more  than one and will again in the future soon.

MinWah plans on adding it back in.  For now all you can really do is define the emulator more than once with a different folder.

Just thinking about it and wouldn't it work to add the extra roms paths via the mame.ini file?  I'll have to give it a try.

This would work for MAME itself, but not MAMEWAH (assuming you are using a 'ROM Folder' type List Generation Method).

Thinking about it also, you could have ROMs in different folders if you used the DAT File List Generation Method.  A bit of a pain perhaps to have to create the DAT file - but it would work :)
