Hello everyone, this is my first post here, so hello!
I have located a rom for crazy taxi for mame, as well as downloaded the naomi bios, as well as naomi 2, however, I am still missing required ROMS when I try to launch it. Any help on what those might be is greatly appriciated

Pretty sure crazy taxi is only working in "Demul" an emulator that isn't the same as mame.
PS welcome :applaud:

Thank you, I will check it out and try to add it to my front end asap, working on building my first cabinet this summer, so, lets get this ready!

Actually, looking back, I see there are two different versions, one, for MAME, and 2, for dreamcast emulators, I realize I may have to resort to the dreamcast version, but MAME recognizes it just fine.. Just am missing a rom apparently.

Yes I'm not trying to say that it doesn't exist for mame (I'm sure it does) just that it doesn't actually work in mame (it isn't playable). Really anything that runs on naomi hardware doesn't work in mame. Demul is a separate emulator that supports naomi and the games are actually playable. You can run the actual arcade version, no need for the dreamcast version. I'm running it so I can say for sure that it's possible 8)

Brad808 is correct. There's only one Rom for the arcade version and it is only emulated with Demul. MAME may list it but it is unplayable. Crazy Taxi plays great on my cabinet with Demul.
