Title: Silly question.. what are CPOs and sideart printed on?
Post by: marioxb on June 18, 2013, 09:45:13 am
Surely this must be some kind of common piece of sticky back vinyl or something? I need a blank white piece with the exact thickness as these arcade "stickers" for a non-arcade related project I'm doing. I walked around the hardware store looking everywhere, and I didn't really know what I was looking for so I didn't know how to ask for help.

You might try FedEx/Kinkos, Staples. Office Depot, Office Max, or another printshop in your area.

Ask for adhesive backed vinyl.

They'll probably be able to provide a sample for you to examine.

Thanks. That sample would probably be all I need, actually. I have this wall plate:

And I am only using the VGA port and the 3.5mm audio jack. I took the RCA jacks off and used them on another plate. I was thinking that a piece of this vinyl would be perfect to cover the extra holes.

If you do a search on eBay for white self adhesive vinyl, I am sure you'll find the stuff you need at a good price. Looks like you need a pretty small quantity, so a sample sounds like a good idea.
