I've got a nearly-new Ultimarc MagStik+ with BOTH the black bat-top (standard) and the classic red ball-top chrome shafts. I also replaced the stock microswitches with much softer/quieter ones. They still click, but there's a lot less resistance.
Chances are you know what this stick does if you're reading this post. But, if not, this stick has 2 unique features. First, it is magnetically centered, not spring-centered like most sticks. It returns to center very quickly. Second, it is switchable between physically restricted 4-way and 8-4ay mode via a clever mechanism. You pull up on the stick and twist it 45 degrees to rotate the restrictor plate. So, you get real mechanically restricted 4/8-way play without having to open up your control panel to change it.
